Questions

Do I need a bank card to start?
Yes. On the web your bank card is saved at YooKassa for 0 ₽ and your 14 days start; nothing is charged until day 15, and turning auto-renewal off before then means nothing is charged at all. You type your card on YooKassa's page; Rotea never sees the number. On iPhone, Apple handles the trial.
What happens when the 14 days end?
If auto-renewal is on, your plan goes on and the first period is charged. If you turned it off, Rotea asks you to choose a plan before the next round. Nothing is deleted: your cards, your streak and your progress wait for you, and you can still open Settings, export your data or delete your account.
Does a plan bought on the web work on iPhone?
Yes. A plan belongs to your Rotea account, not to a device or a store. Sign in on your iPhone the same way you signed in on the web, with the same Google, Apple or email account. The same goes the other way.
What does "about 9,600 of your own phrases" mean?
Every phrase you write yourself is voiced and labelled by a paid service. Each paid period brings your allowance up to about 400 phrases a month, or about 9,600 a year on the yearly plan. Phrases you add from a collection are already voiced and use none of it. Unused phrases don't carry over, and the ones you have left stay yours if the plan ends.
How do I turn auto-renewal off?
On the web: Settings → Account → Plan → Turn off auto-renewal. Your plan stays until the end of the period you paid for, nothing more is charged, and your bank card is deleted from Rotea. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Rotea; Apple handles that subscription.
Can I get a refund?
For a web plan, write to us and we refund the unused part of the period you paid for, as the terms say. For an iPhone plan, Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I have a promo code. Where does it go?
Promo codes are for people we've invited to test Rotea. Enter yours in Settings → Account → Plan on the web; it gives the days it names, with no bank card.
Is there an Android app?
Not yet. Rotea on the web works in any Android browser in the meantime.
